Step 2: Online Assessment

Shortly after submitting your application, you will receive an email inviting you to complete an online assessment. During RSM’s online assessment, you will need to complete some situational judgement tests and numerical reasoning tests. The assessment will take around 60 minutes to complete. In order to be successful, you should understand your strengths, what you are good at and how you deal with difficult and stressful scenarios. You should be able to demonstrate your motivation to apply to RSM, time management, collaboration, teamwork, analytical and leadership skills. The entire session will last for approximately 1 – 1.5 hours and will take place between 9 am – 5:30 pm.

How to Pass RSM’s Online Assessment

RSM’s online assessment is not as difficult as many other companies. Questions consist of standard situational judgement and numerical reasoning questions.

In order to pass RSM’s online assessment, first, you will need to understand RSM’s culture and what the role you applied for entails. You should then start practising our situational judgement tests, which are developed to give you a sense of a real assessment. Our situational judgement tests are not timed. So, during your practice, please take your time and read the questions carefully to grasp what they are asking for.

For the numerical reasoning part, if you have not experienced them before, it is important to start from the basics. In our learning zone, you can learn the basics of a numerical reasoning test. We will help you understand different aspects of numerical tests. Once you can pass these tests, questions in the challenge zone will help you accelerate your skills. You should confidently sit RSM’s online assessment if you can pass the tests in the challenge zone multiple times.
