Step 2: Online Assessment

Once you have completed these tests, an assessor will assess your application along with other materials your provided and decide whether or not to invite you to an interview.
Step 3: First Round Interview
The first-round interview is divided into three smaller interviews: a market sizing interview, a behavioural interview, and a case study interview. These interviews are designed to assess your knowledge and skills from different angles. One of the ways of preparing for a behavioural interview question is taking our Job Interview Pro online course, where we explain how to answer more than 80 interview questions step by step.
Step 4: Final Round Interview
The final round of interview is often conducted by a more senior member of the Company, and it mainly assesses whether your personality suits the company culture and team dynamics. This step can also involve a short case study. If you are successful at this stage, you will be offered a role at Bain.
How to Prepare for Bain’s Online Assessment
For numerical reasoning tests, it is important to practice our full set of questions both in the Learning Zone and the Challenge Zone. During the actual assessment, you should expect some charts and questions written based on those charts. It is essential to answer them quickly and accurately. Bain does not show you a timer during their assessments. However, their assessments are timed. Therefore, it is important to improve your speed in solving numerical reasoning questions.
The same rules apply to logical reasoning and verbal reasoning tests. During a logical reasoning test, you will see a set of diagrams and be asked to identify the next diagram in the series. If you have not seen this type of questions before or you are not really good at solving them, you should definitely practice our logical reasoning tests to improve your cognitive ability.
During the verbal reasoning tests, you will be presented with a paragraph and asked to draw conclusions. You will need to conclude whether the given statement is true, false or cannot be concluded based on the paragraph provided.
