Customise
We understand that interviews are important for you and that you want to succeed. However, sometimes, you may not be able to find what you are looking for among the available options on our website. So, why don't you tell us what you want to practise, and we provide our expertise?
How Does This Work?
Our interview customising option allows you to prepare for video, telephone or final stage (partner/senior managers) interviews with any company. You can achieve this by following the steps below.
Step 1: Purchase Customised Interview on this page.
Step 2: Visit your dashboard, and create your own interview question list with the questions you want to prepare for. You can add up to 10 questions.
Step 3: Prepare and record your answers to the questions
Step 4: Submit your answers for review
Step 5: Get live 1:1 feedback from interview coaches within 48 hours
Step 6: Practise, practise, practise based on the feedback.
Interview Preparation Best Practice:
1. Research the Company: Understand the company's history, mission, values, products or services, recent news, and culture. This knowledge demonstrates your interest and helps tailor your responses.
2. Review the Job Description: Analyse the job requirements and responsibilities.
3. Prepare Common Interview Questions: Based on your research, anticipate questions you may be asked during the interview. You can read more about how to approach anticipating questions here.
4. Prepare Your Answers: Structure your responses to behavioural questions using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). Match your skills, experiences, and achievements to what the role demands.
5. Mock Interviews: Practise, practise and practise. Request feedback on your responses, communication style, and areas for improvement.
6. Practise Non-verbal Communication: Pay attention to your body language, including posture, eye contact, and hand gestures. Practise maintaining a confident and professional demeanour. Our coaches will observe your body language and point out any issues during your 1:1.
7. Prepare Questions for the Interviewer: Prepare thoughtful questions about the company, team dynamics, projects, or future goals to ask the interviewer. This shows your genuine interest and engagement.
