How to prepare for Cappfinity-style assessments<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n
Usually, the best way of preparing for an online assessment is to practice. You can be more efficient by understanding what you will be facing. According to their website:<\/p>\r\n\r\n
\ud83d\udc49\ud83c\udffb Situational Strengths Tests<\/a> (SST) usually come in ranking style, where you will need to rank 4-5 different options from most efficient to least efficient or from what you most likely do in a given scenario to what you least likely do. To do these tests well, you need to understand your target company’s corporate culture and what strengths they may look for from candidates.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
\ud83d\udc49\ud83c\udffb Numerical Reasoning Tests<\/a> (NRT) are slightly different to SHL or Cubik’s numerical reasoning tests. Cappfinity’s numerical reasoning test usually requires you to solve one question based on one diagram. In contrast, other numerical tests typically require answering two to four questions based on one diagram. \ud83d\udc49\ud83c\udffb The Verbal Reasoning Test<\/a> provides an assessment of candidates’ verbal cognitive ability based on the examinee’s capacity to think and analyse written documents correctly and logically. The questions in this test may focus on different topics and appear in various formats, such as completing missing words in sentences, comparing different statements, examining grammar and spelling and making judgements on different statements.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
\ud83d\udc49\ud83c\udffb The Capp Critical Reasoning Test<\/a> (CRT) is designed to assess a candidate’s capacity to evaluate evidence, judge arguments and compare hypotheses whilst drawing logical conclusions from the data. The questions in the CRT are based on the modern-day job market and current events. The CRT’s questions may focus on different types of reasoning, such as abduction reasoning, syllogism, and other types of logical reasoning, as well as critical verbal reasoning.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
