Student & Graduate Recruitment Process
Stage 1: Online Application
You need to apply through Grant Thornton's official job application portal. The application asks a set of questions about who you are, your education and your experience. It normally takes less than 30 minutes.
Stage 2: Online Assessment
Grant Thornton's online assessment is straightforward, and it takes only around 5 minutes to complete. You can check out our dedicated Grant Thornton Online Assessment page to learn more about how to prepare.
Stage 3: Digital Interview
If you are successful in the online assessment, you will need to complete a digital interview. This stage involves responding to a series of questions by recording your answers, and questions are mostly competency-based. You’ll have up to 1 minute of preparation time and then between 2-3 minutes of speaking time to answer it.
Stage 4: Written Case Study
During this stage, you will be given a case and asked to write a short business-style report based on the case. This exercise may take you 20 minutes to complete. Please read our guidance on how to prepare for it.
Stage 5: Group Exercise
Following the assessment centre or final interview, candidates receive feedback and are informed about the outcome of their application. You will receive a job offer if you are successful.
Stage 6: Final Interview
The final interview will be with a senior member of the service line you will be joining, and the interview will focus on your motivation, competencies and strengths.
Stage 7: Offer and Feedback
Following the assessment centre or final interview, candidates receive feedback and are informed about the outcome of their application. You will receive a job offer if you are successful.
