Student & Graduate Recruitment Process
Stage 1: Online Application
Applicants are required to submit an application through AtkinsRéalis's official job application portal. The application requires accurate details of the academic and employment history (optional). It takes around 25 minutes to complete.
Stage 2: Online Assessments
If your initial application meets the minimum criteria, you will be invited to an online assessment called Immersive Assessment. You can read more about how to prepare for them below.
Stage 3: Business Review
If you are successful at stage 2, your application will be reviewed by a recruiter further before being shortlisted for a final interview.
Stage 4: Virtual Interview
The Virtual Interview is the final stage of the application process. The interview will be an opportunity to find out more about the business area you’ve applied to and virtually meet some of the team who you could be working with.
Stage 5: Offer and Feedback
Following the interview, candidates receive feedback and are informed about the outcome of their application. You will receive a job offer if you are successful.
How to Prepare for the Online Assessment
AtkinsRéalis's online assessment comprises two parts: an immerstive assessment and a short video interview. The immersive assessment includes situational judgement, numerical and verbal questions, while the video interview focuses on behavioural aspects and motivation. The overall assessment is not timed, but you need to complete them in one sitting.

The Immersive Assessment
The Immersive Assessment requires you to read some work-related scenarios and choose the Most and Least Effective approaches to given scenarios. This assessment is designed to assess your alignment with the roles you applied for and the company. In order to prepare for the assessment effectively, we advise you to practise our Situational Judgement, Numerical Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning practice tests.
