Stage 1: Online Application (CV and Cover Letter Screening)

Candidates apply via Bain & Company’s official careers portal, submitting their CV, cover letter, and academic transcripts. The application should highlight relevant experience, skills, and motivation for joining Bain.

Stage 2: Online Assessments

If you meet the minimum benchmark, you will be invited to complete an online assessment. The online assessment consists of four parts: Behavioural Preference, Numerical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning.

The entire assessment will take around 75 minutes.

Stage 3: First Round Interview

If you successfully pass the online assessment, your application will be reviewed again. If you are selected, you will be invited to an interview. Though there are some differences between first and second-round interviews, they are also largely similar. Each interview usually takes 45 to 60 minutes and can be broken down into three parts: the standard fit interview, the Personal Experience Interview (PEI), and case questions.

Stage 4: Second/Final Round Interview

If you are successful in your first-round interview, you will be invited to a second-round interview. It is similar to the first round interview, and you can expect a similar structure.

Stage 5: Offer and Feedback

Following the final interview, candidates receive feedback and are informed about the outcome of their application. You will receive a job offer if you are successful.
