Student & Graduate Recruitment Process

Stage 1: Online Application

Candidates apply through Barclays' official careers portal, where they submit their CV and complete role-specific application questions.

Stage 2: Online Assessments

Once the application is submitted, if it meets the minimum benchmark, you will be invited to complete online assessments. The online assessment stage includes three different assessments - a cognitive ability test, which includes various numerical and logical questions, a work style questionnaire, which is known as a personality assessment, and a video recorded interview, known as the Barclays Mindset assessment.

If you are applying for data and technology roles, you will also complete a coding test.

You will need to score enough in each part to progress to the next stage of the recruitment process.

Stage 3: Assessment Centre

If you are successful in your online assessment, you will be invited to the assessment centre. Barclays's assessment centres take place in their offices.

A typical assessment centre includes a welcome session, which introduces Barclays and the business area, a business case study, which is a group exercise, and a behavioural interview.

Stage 4: Offer and Feedback

Following the assessment centre, candidates receive feedback and are informed about the outcome of their application. You will receive a job offer if you are successful.
