Stage 2: Online Assessment
Mazar's online assessment consists of multiple scenario-based questions where you need to rank answers based on your judgements and multiple numerical reasoning questions. The assessment will not be timed, but it will take around 70 minutes to complete. You can find more about how to prepare for Mazar's online assessment here.
Stage 3: Interview
This first-round interview will be with a member of the student recruitment team, and it will focus on your motivation to apply and the core competencies they are looking for.
Stage 4: Virtual Assessment Centre
If you are successful in your interview, you will be invited to the assessment centre. The assessment centre will include a case study, a group exercise, a numerical reasoning test and a final interview with a senior member of the team you will be joining.
Stage 5: Offer and Feedback
Following the assessment centre or final interview, candidates receive feedback and are informed about the outcome of their application. You will receive a job offer if you are successful.
How to Prepare for the Online Assessment
Mazars UK's Immersive Online Assessment consists of two parts:
- Situational Judgement Test
- Numerical Reasoning Test
and tests are provided by Cappfinity.
⌛️ Overall Time Needed to Practice: 3 days
⏰ Overall Time Needed to Complete the Assessment: 70 minutes
Situational Judgement Test
The situational judgement test includes ranking-style questions, where you need to order provided answers from most likely to least likely, depending on how you would react to the provided situations or work-related scenarios. Those questions are designed to assess the behaviours required to succeed in day-to-day work at Mazars. There's no time limit for completing this part of the assessment, which normally takes around 50 - 60 minutes.
In order to succeed in this part of the assessment, you can practice our Situational Judgement Tests, which include ranking-style questions that help you understand corporate culture and what employers might be looking for.
Numerical Reasoning Test
This assessment is designed to assess your numerical skills and attention to detail. During this assessment, you will be asked to perform some calculations based on the information provided.
This part of the assessment has 12 questions. Although this assessment is not timed, it is time recorded. Ideally, you should not spend more than 12 minutes. The speed and accuracy of your calculation will be taken into consideration when calculating your final results. If you practice our set of Numerical Reasoning questions, with a focus on Challenge Zone: Assessment One and become comfortable with them, you can easily pass this part of the assessment.
