Student & Graduate Recruitment Process

Stage 1: Online Application

Candidates apply through GSK’s official careers portal, submitting their CV and completing application questions tailored to specific roles and locations. The application process includes details of education, work experience, and motivations for joining GSK.

Stage 2: Online Assessments

If you meet the minimum benchmark for the role you are applying for, you will be invited to complete an online assessment. The assessment consists of 28 questions, including ranking, typing, and numerical style questions.

Stage 3: Job Simulation Assessment

In this stage, you will face the ‘world of GSK’ situation-based test. In addition to self-recorded video interview questions, there are numerical and writing-style questions. You will need to complete these questions based on the information provided, which varies depending on the role you applied for.

The self-recorded interview part of the assessment focuses on your motivation to apply for the role and the company as well as your strengths.

Stage 4: Assessment Centre

This is the final stage of the application process. It will last around 4 hours, and you will take part in 4 different exercises, one mini-case study, one business case study, one interview behavioural interview and a business-related interview.

During the case studies, you will face one or two interviewers and discuss your analysis and findings with them. You may also need to do a brief case study and answer their follow-up questions.

Stage 5: Offer and Feedback

Following the Assessment Centre, candidates receive feedback and are informed about the outcome of their application. You will receive a job offer if you are successful.

How to Prepare for the Online Assessment

GSK's online assessment has 28 questions. This assessment consists of some rank order, rating, writing and numerical questions. Throughout the assessment, you will be asked how you might respond to specific business scenarios and rank what you'd be likely to say or do and how you would feel. You will also be asked to analyse numerical information and provide responses to it. 

The overall assessment is not timed, but you need to complete them in one sitting. This test is provided by Cappfinity.
