Student & Graduate Recruitment Process

Stage 1: Online Application

Applicants are required to submit an application through PwC's official job application portal. The application requires accurate details of the academic and employment history.

Stage 2: Online Assessments

This stage involves a series of online assessments to measure cognitive skills, natural behavioural preferences, and numerical reasoning abilities. You can practice PwC's online assessments here.

Stage 3: Video Interview

If candidates are successful at Stage 2, they proceed to a video interview, where they respond to a number of questions. This stage aims to provide insight into PwC's work environment.

Stage 4: Virtual Assessment Centre

This stage includes individual and group activities, along with a 30-minute live interview with a member of the Student Recruitment team. The assessment centre integrates everything learned about PwC so far, focusing on motivational and scenario-based questions during the interview.

Stage 5: Final Interview

If you are successful in your Assessment Centre, you will be invited to the final stage, which is an interview with a senior member of the service line you will be joining. You may not have a final interview for some service lines.

Stage 6: Offer and Feedback

Following the assessment centre or final interview, candidates receive feedback and are informed about the outcome of their application. You will receive a job offer if you are successful.

How to Prepare for the Online Assessment

PwC UK's Online Assessment consists of two parts - a behavioural assessment and a cognitive ability assessment. The assessment is provided by SHL.

⌛️ Overall Time Needed to Practice: 2 days

⏰ Overall Time Needed to Complete the Test: 45 minutes

Behavioural Assessment:

It is very similar to a personality questionnaire. You will be provided with multiple statements, and you will need to choose the one that best describes you. In order to be successful in this part of the assessment, you need to understand what PwC is looking for, its corporate culture and its values. Your answers need to closely align with them.

There's no time limit to complete this part of the assessment. This part normally takes around 20 minutes to complete.

Cognitive Ability Assessment:

PwC's cognitive ability assessment consists of several business-like scenarios that will assess your level of critical reasoning as well as your numerical ability. You'll be using your problem-solving, numerical and logical reasoning to answer questions that are presented to you.

This part of the assessment has 8 questions, and you have 12 minutes to complete them. If you practice our set of questions and become comfortable with them, you can easily pass this part of the assessment.

In order to be successful in PwC's Cognitive Ability Assessment, we advise you to practice our Numerical Reasoning Tests and Logical Reasoning Tests with a focus on SHL Style Practice Tssts in each category.
