Student & Graduate Recruitment Process

Stage 1: Online Application

Applicants are required to submit an application through RSM's official job application portal. The application requires accurate details of the academic and employment history. It takes around 20 minutes to complete.

Stage 2: Online Assessments

This stage involves an online situational assessment designed to immerse you into the type of work you can expect if you are successful in your application at RSM.

During this part of your application process, you will watch a series of videos and read some information to answer situational and numerical questions.

Stage 3: Video Interview

If a candidate is successful at Stage 2, they progress to the video interview stage, where they respond to a number of questions. This stage aims to provide insight into RSM's work environment and assess your core skills and competencies.

Stage 4: Virtual Assessment Centre

This stage includes individual and group activities, along with a 30-minute live interview with a member of the Student Recruitment team. The assessment centre integrates everything learned about PwC so far, focusing on motivational and scenario-based questions during the interview.

Stage 5: Final Interview

If you are successful in your Assessment Centre, you will be invited to the final stage, which is an interview with a senior member of the service line you will be joining. You may not have a final interview for some service lines.

Stage 6: Offer & Feedback

Following the final interview, candidates receive feedback and are informed about the outcome of their application. You will receive a job offer if you are successful.

How to Prepare for the Online Assessment

RSM UK's Online Situational Assessment consists of three modules, each featuring questions in various ranking, rating, and numerical style questions. The assessment is provided by Cappfinity.

⌛️ Overall Time Needed to Practice: 2 days

⏰ Overall Time Needed to Complete the Test: 60 minutes

Online Situational Assessment:

The Online Situational Assessment consists of three different modules with a total of 50 questions. Each module will have some ranking, rating and numerical questions. For ranking and rating style questions, you will read some work-related scenarios and rank or rate the action statements according to requirements. In order to effectively prepare for these questions, you can practise our Situational Judgement Tests, where we explain the values and strengths that most UK employers are looking for, and you can put your learning into practice too.

Some questions in Online Situational Assessment involve numerical calculations. You can practise our Numerical Reasoning Tests to easily prepare for this part of the assessment.

There's no time limit to complete this assessment, but it normally takes around 60 minutes to complete.
